The following weekend, athletes Elle and Fareya, guided by coach Emma, faced off against experienced opponents in the Northern Ireland Open, Londonderry.

The enormous undertaking proved fruitful as both girls returned with bronze medals, accumulating more national ranking points in the process.

Competition resumed on April 28, when the club sent 25 fighters to the Hampshire County Championships in Aldershot.

The event saw 17 judo clubs from across the county, all eager to showcase their abilities.

Participants spanned across a wide age demographic, ranging from as young as eight years old to seniors, featuring bouts starting at the boys under 27kg category to the over 100 kg males.

Once again, the Judo Company combatants demonstrated excellent judo techniques.

A few newcomers had a tough initiation against seasoned opponents but showed resilience.

The experienced members in the team handled their fights well and gained a number of victories.

The day's endeavours culminated in significant success as the club earned eight gold, five silver, and eight bronze medals.

These impressive results made Judo Company the top club, and subsequently was awarded the coveted Hampshire cup.

Looking ahead, these gold medal winners will represent the Hampshire team in May, participating against Kent, Surrey, and Suffolk.
