PARENTS of teenagers in Overton are being asked to check their children for burns after three cars were damaged by what was believed to be battery acid.
The three cars were damaged in the village centre.
Beat officer for Overton PC Richard Baldwin said: “I would like to appeal to parents of any teenagers who live in the village to quiz their children about this mindless behaviour to see if they can identify any of the offenders.
“I will not stand for it and I know the law-abiding majority of the village won’t either. Once identified, the offenders will be dealt with robustly.”
