A new chapter for The Works
Britain’s leading discount book shop has launched a new flagship store in Southampton bringing 13 new jobs.
The Above Bar Street store, one of the largest in The Works’ chain of more than 300 outlets, is the first of a new “store of the future” concept, with a new design and layout. Kevin Keaney, chief executive officer at The Works, said: “Following a four-year absence, The Works is very proud to have returned to Southampton with this bigger and better flagship store.”
