Winchester hotel developer applies for licence
A HOTEL developer has applied for a licence for its proposed hotel in Winchester.
Whitbread Group wants to build a 101-bedroom, four-storey hotel in Winnall on the junction of Easton lane and Winnall Manor Road, on the site currently occupied by Caledonia House.
The licence would allow the hotel to sell alcohol between 10am and 12.30am Monday to Sunday and to residents 24 hours a day.
The planning application is currently under consideration by city council planners.
