THERE will be some comedy capers taking place at Snows Kia Basingstoke on Wednesday March 13.

The Houndmills car dealership will be hosting an event called Doing Something Funny for Money to celebrate the 25 th anniversary of Red Nose Day.

As one of a number of participating Kia dealers across the country, Snows Kia is looking to raise funds for the charity as well as providing Basingstoke residents with the opportunity to contribute to Red Nose Day that takes place on Friday March 15.

Adam Lawrence, sales manager at Snows Kia, in Brunel Road, said: “Our fundraising extravaganza for Red Nose Day aims to get the residents of Basingstoke involved and tap into their charitable side for this very worthy cause.

“As a supporting partner of Red Nose Day, we’re inviting people to have a nose around Kia as we aim to raise a minimum £1,200 for Comic Relief, as well as have a lot of fun in the process.”

He said Red Nose Day is all about driving positive change through the power of entertainment, and as a supporting partner of Red Nose Day 2013, Snows Kia will be embracing this mission.

Adam is encouraging people to do something funny for money by heading down to Snows Kia for an evening of one-liner gags and humorous tales from home grown talent.

Tickets can be obtained from the dealership, or from The Breeze radio station in Festival Place.
