A WINCHESTER student has won a photography competition for a design to feature in a Winchester hotel brochure.
Daisie Pike-Quantick’s photograph of the Marwell Hotel sign surrounded by daisies beat off stiff competition from seven other students of Barton Peveril college.
As well as featuring in Marwell Hotel’s brochure, Daisie won a two-course meal at the hotel’s restaurant.
Daisie said: "This is such a fantastic opportunity for me to expand my portfolio with commercial work. I can't wait to see it in the brochure."
Development manager, Charlotte Troester, said: “Daisie's image just really stood out.
This competition has been a brilliant way for us to get involved with our local community. We had a great day when the students came to take their photographs, which were all of a very high standard - it was very hard to choose the winner.”
