LONDON Clancy staff shared some Christmas cheer at Basingstoke Golf Club with colleagues, clients and local professionals.

The property consultants, based at The Courtyard, at Brinkletts House, in Winchester Road, Basingstoke, played host to around 60 people for some festive drinks and networking.

London Clancy director Jim London said: “It was an enjoyable evening where Basingstoke Golf Club looked after us very well.”

At the event, Mr London reflected on the past year and said he was optimistic for the Basingstoke property market for the year ahead as there are signs of growth.

“I think the market is showing signs of improvement,” said Mr London. “We are especially pleased with how the industrial and warehousing side of business is going at the moment.

“The take-up for industrial space in Basingstoke was extremely encouraging in 2013, compared to previous years.

“As for office space, although this was fairly stable, there are also signs of improvement which is encouraging and, generally, I felt the number of enquiries we have been having has had a positive impact.”

In thanking his colleagues and professionals, Mr London said: “I would like to wish all of our clients and professionals a happy Christmas.”
