THE Wills & Estate Planning Department at QualitySolicitors Clarke & Son trialled a Drop-in Bereavement Clinic last Saturday at its Manor House offices, in Winchester Road, Basingstoke.
The idea of the morning clinic was for anyone who had recently been bereaved and may need help with probate matters, or, who may be worried about what would happen on their death, to drop in for free advice with a solicitor. Local funeral directors Spencer & Peyton were also available to chat to people about funeral plans.
Nia Wharry, partner and head of the Wills & Estate Planning Department said the morning went very well and that the firm plans to that to run similar clinics in the future.
“As a firm, we want to make legal services more accessible to our clients and Saturday openings, particularly drop-in clinics, have proved a successful way to do this.”
