RECRUITMENT firm Adecco is to take to the streets tomorrow in a bid to tackle youth unemployment.

Staff from the national firm will be on hand, outside its branch in Winchester Street, in Basingstoke’s Top of The Town, on Wednesday from between 11am and 2pm, to offer advice to young people and job seekers on all aspects of job hunting.

Throughout the country, more than 550 recruitment advisors from Adecco - the UK’s largest recruiter- will be out on the streets and visiting schools, colleges and universities to help young people step into the world of work.

Free expert advice will be on offer to help young people and job seekers to improve their employability.

It was all part of the national recruitment firm’s Way to Work campaign.

Information about the campaign can be found at waytowork.com, which is a comprehensive resource for job seekers including guidance on job applications, CV writing and preparing for interviews.

Job seekers who are looking to improve their CV, brush up on their interview technique or learn more about an application process are invited to speak with Adecco’s recruitment professionals and find out about professional free coaching, workshops and training.
