A HAMPSHIRE hotel is under new management but the name remains the same.
Redefine|BDL has taken the 176-room Holiday Inn Express Southampton next to the Ageas Bowl cricket ground, into its stable.
The deal brings the number of hotels managed by the company up to 65.
Redefine|BDL Hotels, is the UK’s largest hotel management company and runs 19 Holiday Inn Express properties as well as hotels under the IHG, Hilton, Starwood, Accor, Marriott, Best Western and Wyndham brands.
John Stuart, Redefine|BDL Hotels’ chief operating officer, said: “We’re very excited about this fantastic hotels joining the Redefine|BDL Hotels portfolio. It sits in a prime locations for both business and leisure travellers, with great access to local attractions and major transport hubs.
“We will bring our wealth of experience in running 19 Holiday Inn Express hotels across the length and breadth of the country, ensuring all guests have a fantastic experience.”
