HAMPSHIRE digital marketing agency Koozai picked up a prestigious e-commerce award after helping a pizza company to grab a bigger slice of the market.

The firm, based at Park Gate, took home the prize for the Best Retail e-commerce SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) Campaign from The Drum Search Awards 2016.

Koozai, founded in 2006, were honoured for their work for pizza firm Papa John’s.

The clients saw a 40 per cent increase in revenue from organic traffic in the year that Koozai worked on the account.

Koozai’s CEO and founder, Ben Norman, who accepted the award at a ceremony held at the Marriott Hotel in London’s Grosvenor Square, said: "The campaign was a massive success and is a credit not only to us as an agency but also to the talented team working on it, not to mention the proactive and quite frankly awesome guys and girls at Papa John’s.”

Papa John’s digital marketing manager David Carey agreed: “Since working with the team, we’ve seen fantastic improvements in the rankings for many of our stores.”
