SHE’s the only Apprentice contestant to gain financial backing from Lord Sugar after being fired.
Susan Ma, who appeared in the seventh series of the reality show, in 2011 persuaded the testy tycoon to invest £200,000 in her skincare business Tropic, which she founded when she was just 15.
The young Susan began with just one product - Body Smooth Refreshing Polish - which she sold at Greenwich Market every weekend to help fund her university studies.
The business now has 5,000 ambassadors selling its 100 products nationwide.
This January, Susan and the Tropic team are hitting the road to recruit more ambassadors at a series of roadshows including one in Southampton.
Susan and her team will be at the Holiday Inn from 7.15pm on January 19.
The event is free to attend, to register your interest visit tropicskincare.com/tropic-roadshow.
