ABP SOUTHAMPTON engineers Gideon Ayres and Sean Cooper used the ABP Southampton Fun Day as a great way to host their boxing match as part of their Rio Gold fundraising for the Rainbow Centre.
ABP staff and members of the port community are re-enacting every one of the 27 gold medals won at the 2016 Rio Olympics by Team GB.
They are being joined by teams with a spirit for adventure drawn from businesses based at the port.
Businesses taking part in the Rio Gold challenge so far include Solent Stevedores, DP World and Wallenius Wilhelmsen Line.
Achieving this within the year will involve some feats of stamina, learning new skills and overcoming a variety of personal and group challenges.
The events are 10k and 5k running, a triathlon, cycling, swimming, diving, canoeing, rowing, sailing, gymnastics, golf, horse riding, tennis, hockey, boxing and taekwondo.
