FLOWER power that looks good and makes a lasting first impression – that’s what a Basingstoke businesswoman is looking to deliver for firms.

Debbie Loveridge is the driving force behind Perpetual Flowers in Basingstoke, and she is keen to show and prove that imitation can be a real plus for businesses by adding floral displays with a wow factor to a reception area, office or other part of a company premises.

Debbie, who has been running the business for three weeks, said: “Perpetual Flowers is dedicated to providing the highest quality imitation floral displays to corporate businesses.

“Our displays are all created in the UK and each are hand-made with the best materials to give that real look and feel to all of our displays.

“We have a range of both exotic and traditional arrangements in all sizes, from small displays for the coffee table through to large ones that make a stunning centrepiece in a larger room.

“The arrangements are hired out on a monthly basis, and are a lot cheaper per year than fresh flowers. They are changed each month so that you have a different and unique display to enjoy, thus providing a much more costeffective solution than fresh flowers.

“The displays are all allergyfriendly, require no maintenance and can cope with office heating and air-conditioning.”

As well as making a difference to the look of local businesses, Debbie is looking to make a difference in the local charity sector.

Debbie, who has previously worked for Sebastian’s Action Trust and was a volunteer supporter for Naomi House Children’s Hospice, is now supporting Ark Cancer Centre Charity’s mission to raise £5million towards a unique local cancer treatment centre that will be built in the Basingstoke area.

She is also a member of the Women in Business group and Hampshire Chamber of Commerce.
