VISITORS to Andover's Walworth Industrial Est-ate will have fewer opportunities to get lost following the installation of new London underground-style maps in the area.
The maps are complemented by new colour coded, street name signs linked to the maps.
If deemed a success the idea could be extended to the Portway estate.
Other new directional signs have also been installed.
The signs are part of an effort by Test Valley Borough Council to rejuvenate the estate, which has fallen on hard times following the departure of Ducal - although several big names remain.
Now the council has called in commercial property specialists Kings Sturge for help.
Economic portfolio holder Peter Giddings, said: "Kings Sturge are the market leader in advising councils in making best use of their assets.
"Things are really moving ahead with more meetings planned on 9 September."
By next year there should be a much clearer idea about who and how private finance will be involved in the council's renovation of the industrial estate.
Before then tenants are likely to see more tidying up as tree work is carried out.
