ANDOVER based Colonel Roger Stewart, an assistant director for the Army staff business process review programme, has been recognised for the quality of his skills as a management consultant in the 2008 ‘Individual Achievement Awards’ The award was presented by the Institute of Business Consulting and is one of seven announced annually by the Institute to recognise the contribution of business consultants and advisers to organisations.
According to the judges, Colonel Stewart was singled out for recognition because of his ability to create value, provide solutions to clients’ business needs and consistently deliver high-quality services.
Colonel Stewart’s award was presented at the Institute of Business Consulting’s gala dinner, held at the Waldorf Hilton Hotel in London.
Colonel Stewart said: “I am delighted to have been recognised in this way.
“The Ministry of Defence has a long tradition of supporting personal development and I am very grateful for the support I have received.
“Consultants are rightly challenged to demonstrate the value they bring to an organisation so the onus is on us to continually develop our skills and experience.
“That way we can continue to provide valuable, independent insights to those we serve.”
