CAMPAIGNERS have launched a website to support their case for a town council for Andover and explain how one can be secured for the benefit of the community.
The site deals with the what, why and how of creating a town council and answers frequently asked questions.
The campaign's media releases can all be found on it too, along with cross-party comments that illustrate just how much momentum the campaign is gaining.
For those who wish to know more there are contact details for the campaign and links to the National and Hampshire Association's of Local Councils.
Anthony Raper, chairman of the campaign and the website's designer, said: "The website aims to present all the facts to help Andoverians make an informed choice to sign the petition.
"As the campaign grows so will the content of the website in order to get more information out to all parts of the community and to ensure we keep everyone up-to-date with the progress of the campaign.
"We want to hear what the community would like a town council to do for them: after all this campaign is about ensuring that their views are better represented."
Sarah Evans, joint secretary of the campaign, said. "We have had so many calls from people asking where their leaflet and the petition is, we just can't deliver them quick enough.
"The content of the leaflet is now on the website at www.towncouncilcampaign.co.uk so people can see it on line if our door-to-door teams have not got to them yet."
