MAKE sure your property stands out is the message from estate and letting agency Romans.

Property portals are reporting record-breaking figures, with more than 50 million pages viewed a day during January (Rightmove) and 65 per cent of home hunters first seeing the property they bought on a portal (Home Moving Trends Survey 2013).

With online house hunting topping the charts, what can your agent do to support the sale of your property and make sure it stands out?

Romans, which has a branch in Winton Square, Basingstoke, invests substantially in professional, high-end marketing tools in order to make your property stand out online, including wide-angle lens photographs and detailed floor plans. Vincent Courtney, residential sales managing director at Romans, said: “We’ve always aimed to secure the best price for all of our customers’ properties, in order to achieve this we need to make sure the right buyers are seeing the property, whether they’re looking directly via our branches, on romans.co.uk or through Rightmove.

More than one in three of Romans’ customers first saw the property they bought via one of the agency’s own marketing platforms, according to Property Academy’s latest Home Moving Trends Survey.

These include advertising on romans.co.uk, For Sale boards, and through one of the branch’s windows.

“We invest heavily in order to provide sellers with a substantial marketing package, including bespoke leaflets for each individual property, regular email updates, eye-catching photography and featured slots in glossy magazines and local and national newspapers,” said Vincent.
