The Army

THE British Army offers approximately 145 different trades covering areas such as engineering, logistics, intelligence, IT and communications, medical HR and finance and music.

All soldiers are put through their paces in initial training and trained to become an integral part of a cohesive fighting force which is respected world-wide as well as being qualified tradesmen/women.

Entry into the Army Foundation College is open to 16-year-old school leavers. This gives young people the great opportunity of going through the entry process while still in school and going into their exams knowing that they already have a secured job when they leave.

Senior entry is open to people from the age of 17 years and one month, up to 33 years of age.

Benefits of the British Army are an interesting and diverse career, a guaranteed pension, good pay, travel, sport in abundance and a close knit group of new and reliable friends to mention but a few.

The Army Careers Office personnel will be at the Andover Job Fair.
