Inkheart

BRENDAN Fraser returns to the silver screen in a new fantasy film about a father and daughter sharing a passion for books.

Daughter Meggie Folchart and her father Mo also share an ability which Meggie has yet to discover.

They can both hear the whispers of the characters’ voices and the two of them have a gift for bringing fictional characters to life when they read aloud.

On one of their trips to a second-hand book shop Mo hears voices he hasn’t heard for years and when he finds the book the voices coming from it sends a shiver up his spine.

‘Inkheart’ is a book filled with illustrations of medieval castles and strange creatures.

It is also a book Mo has been searching for since Meggie was three-years-old when her mother disappeared.

Inkheart is now showing at Reel Cinema in Andover as well as The Odeon in Salisbury and The Odeon in Basingstoke’s Leisure Park and Vue Cinema in Festival Place.
