ANDOVER Musical and Operatic Society (AMOS) are getting into the Christmas spirit to perform their musical production of Scrooge at The Lights in December.

Based on the Charles Dickens classic A Christmas Carol, the show tells the story of Ebenezer Scrooge, a cold-hearted, tight-fisted, selfish man, who despises Christmas.

He is forced to face his unpleasant past, present and future via three ghosts; as a result he undergoes a major transformation and his Christmas spirit is restored.

With all the familiar characters, including Jacob Marley, Bob Cratchit and Tiny Tim, and accompanied by a lively cast, this is a great show for all the family, tackled with the usual flair, energy and talent audiences have come to expect from AMOS.

A treat for all fans of musicals, Scrooge will in turn bring a tear to your eye and leave you with a smile on your face!

Performances run from 1 to 5 December and tickets priced £12.50 are on sale now from the box office on 01264 368368.
