26 JULY: King’s Somborne Flower Show and Fete, in aid of the village’s Horticultural Society benefiting community projects, with dog show (entries taken from 1.15pm), circus shill And fire show, bouncy castle and slides, children’s sports, beat the goalie, Lockerley Silver Band, teas, refreshments and many other stalls, from 2pm.

26 and 27 JULY: Croften Beam Engines In Steam, near Marlborough, from 10.30am to 5pm.

26 and 27 JULY: Stockbridge Open Gardens in aid of and from St Peter’s Church, from 1.30pm to 5.30pm. Cream teas on the church lawn and Amesbury Town Band.

28 JULY: Romsey Amateur Operatic and Dramatic Society and Michelmersh Silver Band presents a 1914 Commemorative Concert, at the Plaza Theatre, Romsey, at 7.30pm.

30 JULY: First World War Commemoration, at Tidworth Military Cemetery, Pennings Road, SP9 7JR, at 9.30am.

2 AUGUST: WWI Commemoration Service, at Andover War Memorial Hospital, at 2pm. All welcome.
