Across the border in Wiltshire Collingbourne CC will be hoping to get off the mark as they are away to Heytesbury and Sutton Veny, with the seconds playing the reverse fixture.
On Sunday the pressure is off as Andover host Challow in a friendly at London Road while the Sunday II go to Purley for a friendly. Both Sunday sides are again in the Border League this season.
The Advertiser is once again publishing a roll of honour each month for every batsman who makes 50 or more and every bowler taking four or more wickets in a full size match. Only those clubs who regularly provide reports will be included and they should reach the sportsdesk by early Tuesday morning at the latest.
Any action shots or team pics are also welcomed as all clubs in the area are offered the chance to promote their club by submitting reports, news, fixtures and gossip throughout the summer.
