STAFF at the Magic Roundabout in Andover are toasting a successful refurbishment of this popular hostelry which has enabled the business to open up again this week.

Greene King the owners of the Hungry Horse brand have spent £700,000 on the refurbishment over the past four weeks which has seen the inside completely renewed with sumptuous new seating and a variety of environments designed to put people at their ease.

Inside there are comfortable snugs, a separate sports bar, a children's entertainment area and sophisticated and airy open areas which can accommodate large groups as well as a vast outdoor area.

Managers Pam and Richard Alderson who have been at the Magic Roundabout for the past four years are very experienced in the pub trade and are confident that the changes will be very popular.

"This is the new look Hungry Horse brand and we will be one of the best pubs in Andover," said Pam.

"We have always been family friendly but now we are even more so."

One of the family friendly aspects of the brand is the cost of the meals which they say hasn't been increased to help pay for the upgrade.
