A DEVASTATED King's Somborne woman believes her three dogs have been the victims of dognapping after they disappeared without trace.

The three pets went missing from Kitty Herridge's garden on 5 February and her family have had no positive sightings since.

Kitty, from Furzedown Road, originally thought they had wandered off.

"The fact is they've been missing for over three months now and we've had no real positive leads to follow up," she said.

"I think they were chasing something which went onto the road and someone picked them up."

Molly, a three-year-old German Shepherd rottweiler cross, wasn't wearing her collar at the time she disappeared but the other two are micro-chipped.

Terrier sisters Tilly and Dinky, both aged two, are very friendly and would have happily got into anybody's car but Molly rarely leaves her owners' sides.

"We are all absolutely devastated they've gone missing," said Mrs Herridge.

"The house is so empty without them."

The family have been left with Skippy, a Welsh Border collie, who is missing her friends.

"Skippy saw the little ones as her own puppies," added Mrs Herridge.

"For the first few nights she would sit outside and howl for them."

The family has had hundreds of posters printed, they've contacted dog wardens and the police and they've signed up to www.doglost.co.uk If anybody has information about the missing dogs call Mrs Herridge on 01274 388544 or 07778 000709.
