Fun day in the park

FUN Day in the Park is tomorrow, 30 August in Andover's Vigo Park.
The afternoon of entertainment and fun for young and old is being organised by Christians in Andover as part of the Hope '08 programme.
Father Peter Codd said: "Hope is very much at the centre of the Christian message to the world and hope is just what is lacking in so many people's lives today.
"Many live out, day by day, a kind of lonely existence, woven through with a quiet desperation and lack of any sense of purpose.
"Come to the park on Saturday afternoon, especially if you don't really feel like it. That's just when you might get a big surprise."
