TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
PART OF PENTON LANE, PENTON GRAFTON AND PENTON MEWSEY
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 that The Borough Council of Test Valley as agent for Hampshire County Council (being the Traffic Authority) proposes to make an Order to allow for works in connection with patching and maintenance work on the carriageway, as follows:-
ROAD TO BE CLOSED That part of Penton Lane, Penton Grafton and Penton Mewsey, from its junction with Chalkcroft Lane to its junction with The Grove. ALTERNATIVE ROUTES From the southern point of the closure west on C33; north on Penton Park Lane; east on Back Lane at Clanville; and south on Penton Lane to the northern point of the closure; and in the opposite direction.
PERIOD OF ORDER: From Monday 12 November 2012 for a period of 6 months or until completion of
the works whichever is sooner.
DURATION OF WORKS: It is expected the restriction will be required on days, between Monday and Friday,
9am to 4pm, to be signed on site.
Pedestrian and reasonable access to adjoining properties will be available.
