A WHITCHURCH man with a medical condition which makes him forget who he is has gone missing.

Police are appealing for the public’s help to find Robert Dawe, who has been missing since yesterday morning.

The 64 year-old left his home at 10.30am to go and buy fuel and has not been seen or heard from since.

PC Kerry Lawrence from Basingstoke police said: “We are very concerned for Mr Dawe’s welfare as he needs to take medication and had a fall recently.

“He has a medical condition where he can forget who he is and therefore it’s imperative that we find him safe and well.

“He was driving a grey VW polo, registration RK05 ORF; and we think he was heading towards Salisbury. We also know that he likes to visit the coast.”

Mr Dawe is described as white, 6ft tall with short grey hair. He is of medium build and has a moustache and hazel coloured eyes.

He was last seen wearing blue jeans and a large grey jumper with black or grey leather shoes and he walks hunched over.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact the police of 101 or in an emergency call 999.
