HOMEOWNERS and businesses are reminded to secure their properties following a burglary near Stockbridge.

The incident occurred between 6.30pm on Wednesday, 21 November and 7.45am on Thursday, 22 November at Leckford Estate Yard.

Entry was forced into various outbuildings within the yard but nothing was stolen.

Pc Rachel Cassells, from Andover police station, said: “The premise is located alongside the main A3057 and therefore someone driving along this road may have seen some unusual or suspicious activity within the yard that could assist with our investigation.

“There was also a meeting of the crib club within the village and some of those attending may have used the yard for parking. Were you parked at, or near to the yard, and did you see anything suspicious?

“I’d like to take this opportunity to remind residents and business owners to ensure that all their items are locked away securely and kept out of site. You should consider attaching more expensive items to an anchor.”

Anyone with information about the incident should contact Pc Cassell at Andover police station by phoning 101. Mini-Com users can call the police on 18001 101 or information can be given anonymously by calling Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
