A NEW club development initiative has been launched by Wiltshire Council to ensure clubs are fit and ready to take the swell of interest since the success of the Olympic Games.
Paralympic silver medallist Aaron Moores was on hand to assist with the launch at his local club at Castle Place Leisure Centre, Trowbridge.
Designed by Wiltshire Council with support from Wiltshire and Swindon Sports Partnership, On Your Marks, Get Set, Go! also aims to help clubs be strong, sustainable providers of local high quality sport.
Clubs can take advantage of a programme which offers to help train coaches and gain funding which ensures future Olympians have the right support to achieve their potential.
