THE Andover Santa Fun Run proved to be a festive hit as hundreds of Father Christmases took over the streets of the town on Sunday.
Locals got into the spirit of the season, running, hopping, skipping and jumping their way around the one-mile route through the town centre.
Competitors young and old took part, with some even taking along their pets to join in with the fun.
Test Valley Borough Council mayor Cllr Dorothy Baverstock started the race, which began at Andover Leisure Centre.
All the runners received a Santa suit for the race and those who finished were awarded with an Andover Santa Fun Run medal.
