FYFIELD and Kimpton have undergone a mini-makeover in time for Christmas, thanks to Test Valley Borough Council’s environmental services team.
The Fyfield and Kimpton Sparkle Day, which is part of the council’s “Love Where You Live” litter campaign, saw the team sweep roads and footpaths and clear 13 tons of leaves and waste. They also visited local residents to offer advice on waste and recycling and handed out more than 250 Green Guides to Recycling in Test Valley.
The next Sparkle Day will take place on 23 January 2013 in Charlton.
