RUBBISH and recycling collection crews will be working across the Basingstoke borough on Saturdays to catch up with the Christmas changes.
Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council has made changes to the schedule to account for the bank holidays over the festive period.
Christmas can mean extra rubbish as wrapping paper cannot be recycled.
Therefore in the first collection after Christmas only extra sacks will be collected.
Unless adverse weather affects bin rounds collections should return to normal from Monday, 14 January.
