A HOUSEHOLD in River Way, Andover, has gone the extra mile with its Christmas decorations this year to celebrate the festive season.
Vivian Benham, of 17 Helford Court, has turned her home into a giant present with a huge red bow as well as lining the fence of her house with giant red and white striped candy canes.
Vivian said: “I have done different things through the years and just thought it would give people a little bit of Christmas cheer.
“And the grandchildren love it as well, as does my son, who helped me install and construct the candy canes.”
Elsewhere in the town enthusiastic festive illuminists vie with each other to catch the eye.
Advertiser photographer Hannah Powell was out and about in Andover on Monday evening to capture some of the most well-lit examples of the art of house decoration.
