POLICE are appealing for information after a man was attacked in the toilets of the Town Mills public house in Andover in the early hours of Christmas Day.
The victim, a 30-year-old man from Andover, was punched in the head and had racist comments targeted towards him by an unknown offender.
As a result of the incident the man needed treatment for cuts and bruises and was taken to Winchester hospital.
The suspect ran from the pub after the attack, which took place between 1.15am and 1.30am.
PC Ashley Whitlock from Andover police said: "Were you in the vicinity on Christmas Eve or in the early hours of Christmas Day?
"Did you witness a man running from the pub or did you witness the assault itself?"
Anyone who may have information should contact PC Whitlock on 101.
