Military wives hit the right note

MIDDLE Wallop Military Wives entertained shoppers with Christmas carols.

The singers were at Tesco Extra, in River Way, Andover, on Tuesday and collected £112 for Cancer Research UK, which is Tesco’s chosen charity of the year.

Tim Crisp said: “The choir, who were only formed in April of 2012, have had an amazing year, being invited to perform their version of ‘The Long and Winding Road’ on the Military Wives’ hugely successful 2012 ‘Stronger Together’ album, which came out in September 2012.

“The choir have also appeared on TV and radio broadcasts over the past few months.”
