AN Andover resident is hoping to raise £1,650 by running the London Marathon in memory of her father, who lost his battle with severe depression in 2011.

Hannah Morrison, from Shepherd Spring Lane, will be running for Andover-based charity MIND in memory of her dad Jason Goddard.

Hannah said: “Many people think as it’s a disease we cannot see, it’s not there.

“More people are struggling with depression as part of their everyday lives.

“Charities like MIND rely heavily on charitable donations for them to continue the good work they do.

“I would like to make our town aware that there’s help for people who are suffering from anxiety through to severe depression, and they do not have to suffer alone.”
