Police are appealing for information after three large commercial cooking ovens were stolen in Stockbridge.

The incident occurred between Friday, December 21 and Wednesday, January 9 at Houghton Down Farm.

A storage facility at the farm was broken into and two potato ovens, one stainless steel marked “Victorian baking oven” and the other red and chrome, along with a stainless steel spit roast machine were stolen.

PC John Viney from Stockbridge police station said: “If anyone saw anything suspicious in the area of the farm between the dates the offence took place I would like to hear from them.

“Did you see a vehicle carrying large catering equipment or have you seen similar equipment for sale?”

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact PC Viney at Stockbridge police station by phoning 101.
