Early closing in Andover and a power cut

WITH the snow depth in Andover now measuring six inches many shops and businesses in the town are closing early or have already closed.
Among those shutting up shop early was Santander which closed at 2pm saying that the early closure was ‘in the interests of staff and customers’.
Other businesses closing their doors because of the snow were W H Smith which closed at 12 as did C&G while Nationwide is closing at 2.30pm,Vision Express at 3pm and HSBC at 3.30pm.
Other businesses in part of London Street faced further disruption caused by a power cut.
