COLLEAGUES at the Co-operative food’s distribution depot in Andover pulled on their ‘Rock around the Clock’ fancy dress to launch what is hoped to be a record year of fundraising for the Carers Trust.
The Co-operative have chosen the Carers Trust as their charity of the year and kicked off the year with a nationwide fancy dress day on Thursday 24 January.
From Elvis to Cher workers at the Andover depot got involved for the charity which formed last year when The Princess Royal Trust for Carers and Crossroads Care came together.
The Carers Trust will benefit from The Co-operative’s staff, members and customers raising money to tackle feelings of isolation and provide breaks, information and support for young carers aged 14 to 25.
