THE Time Ring will come alive to the sound of band music on Sunday.

As part of the recent Andover Summit, free bookings have been introduced for charities and other not-forprofit organisations for the Time Ring.

A series of entertainment events have already been lined up to link with the 2013 programme of farmers’ markets in the town, kicking off with local group Test Valley Brass, who will be performing from 10am until 12pm.

Other acts coming up include the Winchester Ceilidh band Threepenny Bit on 17 March and the Middle Wallop Military Wives Choir on 21 April.

Councillor Ian Carr, leader of Test Valley Borough Council, said: “This is the first of many actions identified by the Andover Town Summit to come to fruition.”

The High Street Events working group are keen to hear from performers, choirs, schools, charities and other local groups who would like to perform in the Time Ring.

Two hour slots are available for either 10am to 12pm or 12pm to 2pm, seven days a week. Bookings can be made online at testvalley.gov.uk.
