Driver taken to hospital after rush hour motorway crash
A Southampton man has been taken to hospital after a crash on a Hampshire motorway causing rush-hour delays.
The blue Skoda Octavia he was driving struck a concrete barrier and its tyres blew out causing other cars to stop.
Police were called to the scene on the M27 between junctions 3 and 4 at 7.35am and the Highways Agency closed one lane of the motorway.
It is not believed the man's injuries are serious, a police spokesman said.
Police are on the scene while the car is recovered.
