Police have now made the area cordoned off a lot bigger compared to what it was earlier this afternoon, as forensics are now on the scene taking photographs.

Eloise Peachey, 20, a first photgraphy student said: "I was in halls earlier and saw a lot of police and ambulances. I saw two guys being stretchered into an ambulance. I saw one of them clearly, he had blood on his shirt. There was a girl with him.
"One of the people I saw had been sitting on a concrete platform outside the entrance to the halls. They were with a small group of people. I think one of them definitely lives here but I'm not sure about the other one."

One second year fashion student, 20, said: I was outside the block having a cigarette and saw someone staggering past at about 3pm.
"He was just on his own and I didn't realise he had been stabbed."

A small area remains taped off. Students are milling around the area and staring out of the windows on the halls of residence.

Ash Burnham, a first year student was down at the scene and is friends with one of the victims.
He said: "We're all pretty shocked. The news spread like wildfire in halls, but there were a lot of rumours."

Hampshire police have now released a statement about the incident:
Two men aged 18 and 23 have received stab wounds after an incident at a halls of residence in Southampton.
Emergency services were called to the Sir Sidney Kimber Campus in St Mary's Place shortly after 3pm today.
Armed officers were deployed to the scene and a knife was recovered. Police continue to search for the offender.
The injured men were taken to Southampton General Hospital where they remain.
Acting Superintendent Craig Dibdin said: "We understand people will be alarmed by this incident but want to reassure them that officers from across the force are following active lines of inquiry in order to locate the offender.
"This is a fast paced investigation in its early stages and we will give as much information as we can as the investigation evolves."

Police have said that they believe the two victims are students.

The Kimber building is an accomodation block for 274 students from Southampton Solent University, with a further 117 in the David Moxon annexe.
The block, which overlooks Hoglands Park, is the nearest to Solent University's main campus on East Park Terrace.

Hampshire Constabulary say they do not have any reason to believe the attacker is still armed.

The service also added that a BASICS doctor was also on the scene along with two double crewed ambulance and the HART team, which is a standard response for the ambulance service when dealing with stabbing injuries.

South Central Ambulance Service say were called to the Southampton Solent Halls at 2.59pm and adminstered emergency treatment for an abdominal injury and a chest injury, which they 'believed was caused as the result of a stabbing'.
A spokesman said the patients were in a stable condition on arrival at Southampton General Hospital.

South Central Ambulance service were called to the scene at 3pm and it was their paramedics who alerted police to the attack when they arrived on the scene.

A knife has been recovered at the scene, but the attacker remains at large.
Police have launched a city-wide search for the knifeman, it has been confirmed.

The armed police were stood down as it was determined they were not required at the scene.

The men are aged 19 and 23 are are said to have suffered 'serious' injuries according to police.
However, they were in a stable condition on arrival at Southampton General Hospital.

The Ghostery add on is worth considering if value your privacy, this site is full of trackers snooping on you.
