A BOMB disposal team was called to Andover police station after a member of public brought in a shell-like object.
The Army team was called to the police station at 10.20am on Thursday. (21)
The object, which had been picked up at Southsea beach by the member of public, was taken away for safe disposal.
The police station was not evacuated.
