ANDOVER’S Danebury Hotel has new owners.
The 17th century traditional coaching inn set in the middle of the town has found new owners through specialist leisure property agent, Fleurets. The Danebury Hotel, formerly known as The Star and Garter, was purchased by Citylodge, the now five-strong hotel group based in the Hampshire-Dorset area.
The hotel is set over three floors comprising 21 en-suite bedrooms, a restaurant, bar and function room and a separate four bedroom manager’s flat.
Will Thomas of Fleurets who handled the sale on behalf of a corporate client, said: “We are delighted to see this property in the hands of an established, local hotel group and look forward to seeing it’s progress in the future.”
