ANDOVER poets Ann Hamilton and Dan Hooks are the winners of the February Andover Poetry cafe.
The audience now will get to choose which poet will get to represent Andover at the Archimedes showcase on 15 March.
And each poet will get a longer slot supporting Southampton guest poet Stewart Taylor at the poetry cafe on 9 March from12.30pm to 3pm at Café Bridge, in Bridge Street, Andover.
Entry is £2 on the door.
Dan, aged 29, said: “I don’t think it’s a case of beating other poets because in poetry slams often the best people lose.”
