Two chances to see the Passion

Two chances to see the Passion Two chances to see the Passion

THERE will be two chances to see the Passion Play in Andover this Easter.

Andover Churches Together will put on the performance in both The Lights and the High Street, so that everyone has a chance to see it.

The latest version of the play, adapted by Jez Jameson and Sharon O’Leary from the script for the Wintershall Life of Christ by Peter Hurley, will take place in the High Street on Good Friday (29 March), after the Andover Churches Together service and Walk of Witness.

This year the play – Passion and Betrayal – focuses on Saint Peter’s view of the events leading up to Christ’s crucifixion and resurrection, using Peter as the narrator of the story.

Once again it is being put on by members of Unity, Andover’s Christian entertainment group made up from the different church communities.

It will also take place on Monday, 25 March, at 7.30pm, in The Lights.

Tickets for this performance cost £6.
