A WEEKEND filled with beer, music and food took place at the Weyhill Beer Festival 2013.

The ever-popular annual event, now in its 8th year, saw hundreds of visitors sampling more than 50 real ales over the three-day festival.

There was also live entertainment through the weekend from local bands including Nokando, One Last Thrill, Outside Central, Less is More, The Inn Spectres, In Darklight, Just Testing, Vibroscope, Gray Smith and Claire-Marie Conlin and Ragged Company.

Pub landlord, Robert Eyre, said: “It went really well, there were a lot of people, I would say thousands, over the weekend. It grows every year.

“It was extremely good, we had a cider and lager tent, a real ale tent and a hog roast.

“I would like to say thank you to all my team and friends and family that helped us throughout the weekend.”
