Fun day joy at playing fields
8:00am Saturday 10th August 2013 in News
LOCALS flocked to the King George Road playing fields on Sunday for the Harroway Fun Day.
There were a host of activities and attractions including birds of prey exhibitions from South Wilts Falconry, a climbing wall, bouncy castle and various sporting challenges provided by the Army.
Face painting was also on offer and residents were able to keep their pets happy and healthy by picking up micro-chipping and neutering vouchers for a small donation to the RSPCA.
Test Valley Borough Council Mayor Janet Whiteley officially opened the event, which ran from noon until 5pm.
The day also marked the official opening of the multi-use games area, which has undergone improvement work.
