A SPONSORED walk through the Test Talley organised by Andover’s Dorothy Page on 8 September has raised £1,300 to be shared between local charities.
Mrs Page, who has been British Heart Foundation (BHF) committee member in the town since 1982, has a long track record in local fundraising.
This year the money raised will be split equally between the Andover branch of the BHF, The Andover Visually Impaired Persons and Icknield School.
The VIPs and the school have each raised money towards the grand total.
Mrs Page said: “I’d like to thank all the lovely people who have supported me in raising the funds.
“In particular I would like to thank Mellors the jewellers for their substantial contribution and members of Andover Baptist Church for their dedicated support.
